Firearms and the West

Understanding our cultural heritage is important to not repeating the mistakes of the past. In understanding those who came before us firearms of the frontier were a tool used to good and evil, however the consequences of these tools had a lasting impact. Cultural heritage informs where we came from and who we once were and understanding how the actions of those who came before us push us to become better people. I investigated how firearms of the frontier life were used and the social ramification for their use. This was displayed in the Echo Arts gallery in Bozeman Montana.
